Eichi II - a new level of beauty

The original Eichi, launched in 2008, was an incomparable work of technical brilliance from the Micro Artist Studio, featuring a hand-wound Spring Drive movement together with the revolutionary Torque Return System that extends the power reserve by utilizing the main spring energy more efficiently. With its winning combination of cutting-edge technology, design excellence and elegant yet intricate simplicity, the Eichi proved very popular.

Its 2014 successor, the Eichi II, relocated the power reserve indicator to the back to further enhance the simplicity of the design.

In 2018, a special 18k rose gold version of the Eichi II was released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Eichi line.

Beautifully curved distortion-free arch and stunning detail

Featuring the first cold forged* watch case in the Eichi series.
The use of a more dense material for the watch case and the technique known as Zaratsu polishing help create a finish with a perfectly smooth arc.

The attention to detail that is evident everywhere, right through to the painstakingly hand-polished lug stem, results in a flawlessly crafted luxury dress watch.

* Cold forging is performed at close to room temperature with minimal heating. Though it requires greater pressure than conventional hot forging, the higher number of repetitions improves both the material density and mirror finish.

Elegant proclein dial featuring discrete hand painted markers

The highly skilled watchmakers carefully paint each of the 12 markers and the Credor logo by hand on a pure white porcelain dial inspired by the snowy landscape of the Shinshu region of Japan. The newly toned transparent and deep black color harmonizes with the 18k rose gold case and temper blue hands to create a new beauty.

Beautifully finished with a Japanese aesthetic

The edges of the "bridges," the part of the movement, and the holes for the screws and jewels are convex and polished by hand by skilled artisans to catch the light from any angle. In addition, the Credor logo is also unified in blue to match the temper blue screws, giving the watch a harmonized, simple look.

The innovative Torque Return System for an extended power reserve

When the mainspring has been fully wound and the torque output is at its highest, approximately 30% of the available power is not needed to maintain the precision of the watch and is in effect wasted in a normal movement. The Torque Return System uses this energy to rewind the mainspring, increasing the power reserve. In Caliber 7R14, this system is active for 35 hours after the mainspring has been fully wound.
By using the available energy more effectively, the Torque Return System increases the power reserve of the Caliber 7R14 to around 60 hours. This represents a 25% improvement over the manual-winding Spring Drive Caliber 7R88, which delivers 48 hours of power reserve.
