Manual winding type (the procedure below is the same when you wind up an automatic winding type by hand)
-
Do not pull the crown out.
-
Slowly turn the crown clockwise to wind the mainspring.
-
Please wind the mainspring fully everyday at a fixed time to keep the watch moving accurately.
(If the watch is equipped with the screw down crown, unscrew the crown before pulling it out.)

When the watch is used from a stopped state, turn the crown about 30 times (for 6850, about 50 times) to fully wind up the mainspring.
CAUTION
When the mainspring approaches full-winding, turning of the crown is heavy more or less, however, this is caused by reaction force of the wound mainspring, which is not defective.
However, be careful not to keep turning the crown forcibly. Otherwise the mainspring may be cut.
